The journey begins at an old movie theater. Moviegoers walk into the midnight screening with their snacks and soda, and they are ready for departure. As the projector light goes on and the reel starts to whir, the theater becomes a train car and transports the passengers to the beloved and somehow nostalgic world of film.

The big mystery about Andy Kaufman's work is in trying to figure out what's serious, what's an act, why he is doing what he's doing, and whether he even knows the differences himself.
